Had a dinner gathering at Kim's place last evening... everyone had a great time there.
These are the secondary school classmates since 1980s. It's amlost 30 years since our 'O' Level in 1980. All still looks the same as before except a bit 'bloated' up in size. Hahaha... We made fun with Alice Quek (who is now in Perth) in facebook. I posted all photos immediately to show her our fun...

I'm getting lazier to blog these days.
My life is stressed with work but fun with adorable, cute dinosaur.

Gerbelle has become the one that both laogong & I look forward to see... of course not neglecting the other young adults.

Laogong will sure ask me this on every Friday morning when he sends me to work... "So what time are we going to pick little baobei?" I'm on duty today and have to work in the office and yet he insisted to bring her home last night. Now I'm in the office and he is at home with little Gerbelle.... hope he can cope until I am back home.

Gerbelle will be 4 months next week. She is very adorable. She will response whatever you say to her and seems to know what you are talking about.... It's amazing!

I had another attack yesterday at about 4.35am.

Felt stomach or gastric pain (cannot figure out), forced myself out from the bed and went to the toilet. Then heard the "eeee" sound and felt giddy... shouted for laogong and started to be flatted on the floor. He came in just on time to hold me up. I felt terrible with that gastric problem... the same attack when we were in KL. I remembered I told him that both my hands are numb. He put me on the bed and massaged my hands.

He stayed awake after this all the way to 7am when he had to go work. He told me to stay in bed and not to walk around the house without him around. When he came back from work, he told me that I fainted twice which I dont remember that... Gosh!

I thought it was a stroke... luckily it was not.... I dont know... I'm alright now!

I'm feeling better now but not able to eat like normal... feel pain whenever I finish eating. So i will have to drink milo, water only... anyway got no appetite.

Life is tougher in office these days. Work problem is much easier to handle than human problem. Our department is now like loose sands. Everybody is so unhappy with R. G is trying very hard to help her junior but her junior seek help from me instead and this really put me in a very difficult position 'cos G feels insulted and hurt. I have made myself very clear in today's open-talk. I have no problem communicating with my own juniors.

Somebody approached me for goodness sake. I am damn sick of all this.

Time really flies...
I want to record things down before they slipped off my mind.

To be frank, GX does not give me a good impression at first. I think mainly because of his tatoo.

He is a quiet guy who does not talk much but he is mischievous most of the time 'cos he likes to disturb baobei (喜欢逗她). With him, I can see baobei smiles & laughs most of the time and this is what I look forward to see.

GX has healthy hobbies. He likes fishing and plays basketball. Baobei has become more patient and mature in many areas. I'm happy that GX leads her well. I just dont like his tatoo but baobei told me that with tatoo, does not mean that he is a gangster. If you look in a different way, it is actually a 艺术. Alright... I'm trying my best to accept. Anyway, I have to 爱屋及乌.

Ken told me that he had a casual talk with GX the other day. When they talked about money, GX told him that he has to think twice now if he wants to buy anything. He loves to buy his LV stuffs. Even though he buys at staff price, they are still expensive to others. He has shown me unintentionally in many ways that he loves baobei and I'm very pleased with him.

At this point of time, I'm proud to announce that Yang Guangxi is my S-I-L.

Mmm... married young is not an offence but not at teenage age (if you know how to differentiate). That's why there is a difference ages group in the ROM list :

Group1 (below 18) - Teenage:
Probably not stable in everything, need supervision.

Group2 (above18, below 21) - Young adult:
Probably old enough to take responsibility but need guidance.

Group3 (above 21) - Adult:
Mature enough, self-responsibility.

We always talk about future but who can guarantee it will be perfect as what you plan. Life is very fantastic.

When a couple has the intention to get married in 3 years' time but has to brought forward 2 years earlier because of the little one... I think this can be accepted. They can still pursue their studies or whatever thing they want after that. Marry is definitely not the tomb of courtship. GX has a stable job and has a very close tight with his family. His young parents, sis, bro are very supportive. I believe I can hand my baobei to GX who is 5 years older than her.

I told my colleague, AP that if I can live up to 60, I think it's good enough. Oh, maybe God heard my prayers and gives me a grandchild at this age... who knows.

I know a lot of people (including close relatives) out there has a lot of comments but that will not border us.
We have relative who is married for years but cannot have babies, we have relative who is still single at the age of 40.... so what to compare? I believe everything is fated.

As a parent, I do not encourage but if things happen, got to find ways to solve. If in the eyes of law, this is acceptable, why dont we just accept it. She is getting more mature after marriage. Her route for future will be a bit tougher than others but she will have the joy of family that others do not have. As long as I'm around, I will guide her along the way.

After all these preparation for baobei's wedding, finally relax time.

Yesterday was the third day of her marriage, they young couple came back to visit me. I was told to cook rice to wait for them. Hahaha... QJ (親家) knows that I'm not good at cooking so get them to buy some dishes back.

Everything goes on well.
Sent them to Lucky Plaza for routine checkup... bought some durian puffs from Goodwood Park and then went to Baobei newly wed home. They are very lovely especially that little SzeHan & their doggy. After the steamboat dinner, we played mj... had a good time there.

Gosh! now back to work in the office...

I would like to apologise to the Chua...

On my way to China Town this evening to do the last minute shopping, I received a sms from janlow telling me that mom & dad sounded so happy that they can come over for the tea ceremony on Sunday.

Due to some miscommunication on the "chiong" thingy, I realised that I have created the unwanted mis-understanding. That day when I sent the card & cakes to mom's house, mom told me that she & dad will not come over, they will go to straight to OCC instead. I was puzzled and sad but I just dont want to ask why... I was fed-up at that point of time. Thinking that how can they not be present in this happy occasion. But if I know that it's because of the 'chiong' thingy, I would have explained & clarified earlier. Sorry to all.

It's confirmed it's no longer an issue. As long as when the groom arrives on that morning, everybody just 'siam' to the dinning room.

Everybody is now happy and look forward to this Sunday.

Please forgive me if I was rude in any way. It was probably due to the stress & sleepless nights I had these few weeks. I realised my problem when a passerby (from Qala Singapore Pte Ltd) tagged me here, telling me that "If you want people to respect you, you respect others first". Yes indeed. this sentence strikes me hard enough and it really wake me up to my sense.

Have the cards ready on late Friday night but were not to my expectation. First, was a bit delay due to some stupid reasons, secondly it was supposed to be 2-sided (with map of OCC) but.... alright nevermind as long as all names, venus & time are printed correctly.. it is still acceptable.

They will get 媒婆 to bring：
a)喜饼（蛋糕）- 回礼：4盒。
b)猪脚罐头 - 回礼: 双数。
c)两对龙凤烛 - 回礼: 一对《凤》烛。
d)两瓶酒 - 回礼: 两瓶汽水(orange)。

9-May (Sunday) -
GX will have to arrive our house at 9.30am but have to make sure he got to hold baobei's hand at 9.45am sharp. Everybody got to "siam" to the dinning room when he arrives and until he shouted:"我来了！" then can come out from the dinning room.

They will then headed to GX's ahma's house to 拜拜 then to GX's house for tea ceremony. Then baobei will get change and proceed her return to our house.
They will then have the tea ceremony to the elderly and Kenneth & Karen will have to 敬茶 to this 姐姐 & 姐夫. Then everybody will have to proceed to OCC for the banquet lunch.

At the OCC, cocktail will be served from 1.30pm and followed by a banquet lunch. Wedding Solemnization will begin at 2pm sharp. The whole celebration has to be ended before the sunset - 7pm.

Baobei will not be wearing her white gown in the morning when GX arrives. She will only wear the white gown and the 头纱 at the OCC.

Hope everything will go on smoothly on that day.

Baobei's in-laws are coming to our house tonight for discussion on the 过大礼（纳彩) and the programme for the actual day.

过大礼（纳彩）is confirmed to be on 22-Apr and that is just next Thursday. For some religous reasons, 属虎，狗，猴，黄色need to be "siam" during the tea ceremony on the actual day (9-May). Baobei needs to go back to the bridal shop to change her gown 'cos 1 of the 4 set is yellow colour.

Will have a final discussion with GX's parents on this weekend on the programme.

Done with a lot of things yesterday.

ROM only accept online application and so we did yesterday and the appointment to sign the consent form is 3 days after the application. We decide to go down today as GX will have to start work tomorrow.

We went to China Town to get the wedding stuff and then GX drove to Lucky Plaza with the help of GPS for baobei's rountine checkup. We saw YY there with his 3 friends. We headed to OCC at Yishun to pay deposit and to choose the decoration, door-gift, food etc. After the banquet discussion, GX drove to SengKang, then I drove home.

I will get the paper printed for the dinner soon.

My baobei is back... Home Sweet Home... She bought so many things... She says she eats she sleeps and she shops and nothing else... still as pretty as before.

I'm off tomorrow... going down to ROM with laogong, GX & baobei to book the date on 9-May... after that go Lucky Plaza for her routine checkup and to OCC to settle with the deposit for the wedding dinner. Wow... so many things to do.

I need to get the some 嫁妆 for my baobei... something like 床头灯,洗脸盆,尿壶等.

On Tuesday, bro told me that China Town ( near CK Store) has a few shops selling wedding stuff. So I went down that night after work but too bad that night the whole market/building was closed for cleaning and only a few shops was opened for business. Those items are all so old-fashioned. I walked around to make a check list. Now I have some ideas of what to buy.

I was asking around where to buy modern potty. Cindy called and tell me that maybe I can get the modern potty from Ikea. So I went the Alexandra Brach with my collaeagues, AP, BH, Yan after wotk the very next day but did not find anything suitable.

AP found something in ebay but can see, cannot get. Mj-kaki (Lily) told me that a shop at TPY sells a lot of child's stuff. So I decided to go down to take a look.

I was mopping the floor this morning when Shellen & Lian came. So we have a causal talk and then I asked Shellen if she know where to buy modern potty. I told her that I want to go TPY after mopping the floor and she said "come lah... we go now... at the same time shop around to see if we find dress etc."

We found this potty.

The rest of the things will have to wait for baobei to come back then start buying.
I bought 3 blouses. Shellen bought 2 pairs of shoes for m-i-l and she got a bracelet for Gera for the Tea ceremony. Shellen & Lian helped F-i-l to choose a necklace for Gera. F-i-l said that he has a <家传之宝>pandant to give Gera and it's now with Jasmine.

I'm glad that baobei will be in this family soon. She will sure be happy and blessed than ever.

Lian & Shellen came yesterday and they started talking about the wedding. They were sort of excited to be四姑婆and 小姑婆. They started to discuss what to do & give on the Tea-ceremony after that they brought m-i-l & f-i-l to TPY to shop for new clothes & jewelleries. They are look forward to this day.

To my surprise, the THO family is more supportive than what I thought... Although they gave a lot of comments when I first sms-ed them about the wedding.

I am kind of disappointed with the Chua (sorry to say that) but it's true in my heart. Besides sis who really cares, everybody really "hard care you" type. Anyway thanks to those who replied my sms with "Congrats or noted." - Sis, Brigitte, Joell, Guan, Na. I got no comment about others.

I ask mom so many things about the wedding and all I get is all negative... "last time... now dont know!"... With my parent-in-law in such a poor health stage, I feel that i am left all alone handling this but luckily baobei's in-laws are really open-minded and easy-going type.

I had brought the young couples to visit mom & dad and I think I've done my part. As for the rest of members in CHUA, will visit them when it's time to send the invitation cards - probably 2 weeks before 9May10.

Gosh! rolled down from the stairs in office this afternoon... wanted to go out for lunch, suddenly "black-out" for a few seconds and didnt really see the steps and there i go.... luckily AP & BH were there to help me... so sat on the floor for a while to recover... then walked out with them.

Just came back from mom's place. Brought GX to visit ahma, cousin 'angmo' was also there to collect his maid's things from mom. When we talked, cousin 'angmo' asked GX about his family and then we came to know that GX's family knows our hougang relative. They are all in the same neighbourhood - Block 686 & 685.

Again I repeat, please tag here with a name and not using passerby 'cos I dont like to talk to strangers.

I settled down at a very young age of 21. I dont see what's wrong with that. I maybe worry but as long as she is mature enough to go after her own happiness and she knows what she is responsible for, I'll give my blessing to her. I hope u people there will also show your support to them - Gera & YGX. I love you all... CHEERS!

我发现我们蔡家跟兄并不是很亲密,不知如何形容是好...
今午的永别葬礼都是刘家在打点的,我想主要的原因是宗教的问题.
要不是Lisa的提醒,我还真的忘了我们是往生者的家属.

我和弟弟的童年比哥哥和姐姐.幸运多了.我们没被欺负惨痛的经历...
这些事故大多数都是从长辈们谈起时才知晓.但无论有多气,有多恨就算了吧.

那晚在灵堂听伯伯述说小时候,看到眼泪在他眼里打滚,觉得很心酸.如今留下末期癌的他和末期癌的伯母，堂姐丽华以后的日子该怎样过.

爸妈姐哥该是时候放下着包袱.若说报应是太严重了,她也已受到惩罚了,不是吗?

我印象中的童年都是美好的回忆.就让这回忆深深地印在我的心里吧!

Received a recognition letter from my FD last Thursday... felt very honor & encouraging. Shared my joy with AP... actually got to thank her for being with me during these "ups & downs".

It's a pity that L is leaving.
I asked her during lunch time the other day.

Tomorrow is again an off day for me.
Life is pretty good currently... to clear annual leave... work 2 days & off 1 day.

I logon to my "ymail.com" to check on my emails and found an email by SK which was sent to me on 12Oct09 and I only get to read this mail last Friday (3 months later). OMG! We have a major change in our dept.
My task is to lead L who has been here for quite some time but does not really a chance to learn & as a result almost be a "white elephant" - redundant. Ros is worried about me getting crashed with L and she told me to be more patient. I've imparted 1/6 of my skills to her and I think she is doing pretty well on her own. She was lack of self-confident previously and from now on I hope she will be happier, extrovert like AP & I... I mean "siao" like us and we sure can work better together.

Hahaha! I'm not sleeping... it's just lazy to update & partly busy with my korean drama series. Have just finished the 129 episode of "Wife Temptation" online... wow broke my record to watch such a long long drama. This is damn nice but a bit draggy... cried like hell for the last 4 episodes and laogong complaint that I used up almost the whole of tissues... What a joke!

Am currently clearing up my annual leaves, so have a lot of free time. I asked AP - what is the next drama to recommend.

SS501 will be having their last station of Asian Persona Concert in Bangkok on 13-Feb-10. Lynn in Bangkok said that the ticket is too expensive for her 'cos that venue is at the high class shipping centre in Bangkok. so the deal of flying over to watch their concert is GONE!

Had Christmas gathering at home for the THO family yesterday.
It was a "pot-luck" lunch so just got to help up with some preparation - not too bad as what I expected.

We discussed about the venus of our reunion dinner this coming CNY. F-i-l wanted to have it in his own house at SengKang but they told him that it's inconvenient as the rooms were being rented out by Sam to his friends. He got to choose among 3 families - Laoda (Yishun), Laosan (us) and Laoba (Woodlands). So Jas suggested that we wrote the number 1, 3, 8 on a paper and got f-i-l to draw lots. In the end, he got number 8 so it's confirmed that we will be having reunion dinner at Woodlands and we went to buy 4D for 8138... hahaha if we strike on Sat. & Sun then the dinner will be at restuarant... sounds GOOD!

Just a fast update on the LMH first Fans Meeting in Singapore this evening.

Have sponsorship from my mj kaki last weekend before I left for my KL trip. So I got AP to book tickets online immediately and she was so happy. We got the Seat No.13 & 14.

This afternoon we were very excited. We kept putting questions to ourselves like what if you were chosen to go on stage, what would you do. "I dont care, I'll just hug him, take picture with him and say "SARANGHEYO, Dongsaeng" or worst to worst shake hands also ok!"

We reached the MAX Pavilion before 8pm and there were already a lot of fans. We were very happy with our seats actually - not too fast away from the stage. There were still a lot of empty seats both in C3 Categories ($98) & B2 Categories ($148). So when programme started and the lights were off. Wow... all fans started rushing to the front seats. As for AP & I, we also cannot lose - we rushed to the B2 Cat, really like "siao" and all those working staffs there so panic and tried to stop people to do that but who cares 'cos the lights were off. I nearly lost track of AP 'cos she ran so fast and found 2 good seats. Luckily she turned round and stretched her hands to me. Hahaha it's damn fun.

LMH is so damn charming, cute. He even cracked jokes.
The whole section was actually interviewing, play games etc. The MC kept getting him to draw the lucky people from a box for games and that box was actually for fans to write down their questions for LMH to answer on stage but why are we not aware of this... so disappoint - that means we wont have chance. Anyway it's really fun.

LMH ended the whole section with his song "My Everything" and right after that, the MC announced that there were cards under some chairs. For those people who got it, can go on stage for a hand shake or exchange for a cupcake at the entrance. Everybody started all sort of patterns. Some people left early and as such there were many empty seats. I touched my chairs - no luck and also tried the empty seats next to me. Feeling disappointed, I looked around and saw an woman really banged down toughly to check her chair. So I decided to be "siao" like her 'cos anyway everybody there is of the same class. I banged down to the same empty seats next to me again and this time I got the CARD - it's for hand-shake. I screamed! I gave it to AP and told her to go on stage, she pushed it to me and I pushed back to her. Eventually she grabbed hold of the card and there she went. She was so happy. AP says she loves me.

又是一个痛得死去活来的经验.

在吉隆坡的第二天,我的胃就开始稍微的疼痛。我们吃过早餐后就起程上云顶高原.一路上还好,没什么大碍,但每当吃完一餐就痛一次.

隔天,我们步行去Times Square.这是胃又开始不争气,这次痛得真的受不了,连站都站不直,开始觉得昏暗,四肢无力,上吐下泻,胃就像要被撕开一样,很难受...很难受. 整个人瘫在地上,冥冥之中听到旁人的对话.有人说五楼有clinic,姐弄来了一辆轮椅把我推到诊所.在诊所里,我听到姐对医生说:"Doctor, her fingers turned black already!" 但医生却说:"Not to worry, it's ok." 结果屁股被打了两只针，手背上被打了一只针，在诊所的病床上躺了一个钟头才回饭店。

在我昏昏沉沉的当儿,我的脑海里有我三个宝贝.我一直以为我这一生没有遗憾但想到当时丽和权都不在身边,心里很不甘心,不知这是不是一种遗憾.我发誓下一个旅程一定要配合他们的时间.

对我身边的人尤其是我姐和伦,对不起让你们担心了.
对老公来说,他已见怪不怪了,因我经常都会有这个毛病.他每次都用激将法,主要是要激发我独立的性格.

I received a comfort message from my FD this afternoon. Message was put across to me as "Florence, you have done a good job. Although I know that you are being forced to learn for the past 2-3 months, your hard work is being appreciated and recognised. Congratulations!".

I was initially feeling very down before I saw him in his office because I was told by my dept.head that there may be changes in our dept. Hence my annual leaves that I booked for end Nov & Dec may have to be re-planned. I was like feeling fed-up as to why always must be me who give in. After hearing what he had said, it really cools me down...

By the way, SS501 is having their Asia Concert in Hongkong on 12-Dec. Grrrr.... Hongkong...

Last night I accompanied laogong watched 《家好月圆》which was showing on cable TV. Last night was showing Ep37/40. Laogong was very excited to know that final stage of the drama. So I helped him to get online to watch Ep38-40 to finish up the whole series.

This morning, when we walked home after visited mummy, I told him that I need to shop for some new clothes but children were too busy with their own stuff and no time for me. Guess what he said! He said:"You set a rule lah... get them to be in with you every初一&十五. Only 2 days in a month,并不过份. The rest of the month, they can do they own things as they like."
Hahaha... is it because the drama last night that gave him that idea?

I went to have breakfast with laogong this morning and bought "wan-ton" noodle for mummy. Dont know why I find the house number so unique today after so many years, so I took a picture of it.

Uncle was also there. His hair turned grey already. He just had an operation and is recovering now. I took a photo of the identical twins - uncle & my daddy. They are just half an hour difference. Both neck got "V' shape.

Gosh! Today I do the most craziest thing in my life.Waited for AP's call. met her in the mrt train at 10 plus and then went to Airport T2 to see LMH... took the skytrain to T1 and wow.... it's crowded. We managed to find a corner and standby our camera.

Finally, we got this precious photo. He's so charming.

After that, we took mrt to DG and up to PS... also crowded... its fun. We found seats at the Mac and took the opportunity to rest. At times, when those fans shouted "LHM, LHM", wow.. everybody in the Mac rushed out including those Mac staffs. Some even crawled up to the tables. It's false alarm lah. Not only young girls, a lot of Ajumma (妈妈级in Korean) were also there. As the crowd is out of control and caused chaotic, the programme has to be cancelled at the very last minutes. Everybody was very upset. No picture was taken.

Then we headed straight to St. James. Oh dear, weather was damn hot but never mind we have the Etude fan with us. We took a seat at one corner. AP was damn cute... she tried to make friends with the security guard and the Ajumma fans there. See the pictures below, that lady standing next to AP. AP asked her:"where is your camera?" Guess what she said. She answered:" It's with my maid and my maid is inside Movida! I get her there to take photos of LMH." Gosh... Her maid is so damn lucky. She was so good to her maid arh.

It's a tiring day but fruitful day as what AP said. We really make it crazy all the way through... hahaha.

I love it! Sometimes I really wonder if we are twins. How do you know that I like to watch the backstage scene. I always wanted to know how the preparation goes on before the great show. It is the hard work of all the great show. Too bad for not having subtitles.

I study the background of these 5 young men and do a lot of research from web/youtube.

I found a clip in the youtube where these 5 guys were punished by his manager because they were playing a fool when their manager expected them to practise hard on their dancing when he came in to the studio late. In this clip, their manager gave them a piece of mind, telling them how a superstar become successful and making them realised that they have to work real hard if they want to be one 'cos at that time they were just "nobody". No matter how they were down at first and today they are SS501.

AP and I always share about our points of view, our likings, our thoughts. I remember I told her that I want to manager of any artice in my next life... this may sound crazy/childish. I share with her what I did for Yang when he joined the CCS 4 years back... Making posters, carrying the poster around to the events he performed, printed a lot of signed photos for his fans, drive him everywhere etc... I enjoyed doing that.

I went to EMI for interview after my 'O' Level and that was many many years back. I was told that my job scope was to arrange singers schedule when they came to Singapore etc. But for some reasons at that time, I didn't take up the job...
I was a lead guitar player in my church when I was a secondary school student. Really like those days when we were called back to church for practice on Christmas and stage events... those were the days... in memories now.

AP and I are now at the chalet since Friday night. To reward ourselves for working so hard for the past 2 months, AP and I organised a BBQ on 26Sep09 at Downtown East. This BBQ was actually for the office collaegues. Too bad the response was not so good at all. We still proceed with our planning. Thanks to those who has contributed money and didn't come - KH Lim, Wilson Chee. With the correct click, we (adults & children) really have fun. At first we felt very dishearten with the poor repsonse but some precious words from SHTan: 酒逢知己千杯少，话不投机半句多。I've this translation from my dear sis "when meeting a close friend, having a thousand cups of wine also not enough. When words don't fit the occasion, half a sentence is too much." Thanks.

Yang said he dreamt of godpa.
Ren came to my room and hugged me so tight this morning. She said she dreamt that I passed away in my sleep. Hahaha... I laughed. So good hah! I "died" peacefully with no pain at all...

Here is just a brief update.
Was really very busy with work. I was left alone in the MC Division struggling with those shipments - following shipment schedules, issuing L/C, contacting forwarders... so many things in my head. I sleep with my eyes open every night. I get fustrated, panic and helpless very easily. I must find a way to keep myself clam, sit back and think how to solve.

Anyway happy days arriving soon.
Received email memo for December - office closure for holidays and I left 2 months to clear my 15 days of annual leave. I've submitted my leave forms and will be working only 8 days in the whole month of Dec.

Received sms from the insurance agent, telling me that godpa's claim is approved and the cheque will be ready in about 4 days. This is the least that I can do for him.

Yang called me yesterday afternoon, telling me he was in a coach on the way to Thailand. Didn't talk much to him as I was busy with a trunk call at that moment. I know he always visits me here. "Take care and be strong. Sarangheyo."

With the current issue on Godpa's insurance claim on his "critical illnesses", I have upgraded mine and at the same time cover my baobei(s) with my CPF.

I told Faith that if I can live until 60 years old, I think that is good enough. By then, all my baobei(s) will be already 30+ and have their own families. I'm very contented with what I have right now. I told her that even if I have to go right now, I also dont have any regrets because I know that all my baobei will surely be well taken care of.... But I think my words scared her and at the same time touched her.

We celebrated his birthday earlier on last Thursday 'cos he will be outstationed next week. He looks like Santa Claus, right?! In fact, he really is. He always asks "Are you working hard OR hardly working?" hahaha... what is funny man he is!

I went to MAYDAY Concert with AP after work last evening. We are both not their fans but just want to see how this boy band can be so successful. It's really fun with AP. I actually felt so boring at first when the concert started 'cos (to me) AhShin was screaming and shouting instead of singing and I didn't even know what he was singing. But with AP, hahaha... she really knows how to create jokes to make whole concert as if it was LMH's. While other audiences were shouting for "五月天！五月天！", we shouted for "LMH! LMH! LMH!"... we were really crazy, right?

There were 2 young girls sitting in front of us who were so cute and nuisance that whenever MAYDAY sang, they would just stood up and shake with their 银光棒. Our view were being blocked by them so I joined them by standing up and shake shake shake and then AP joined in. All audiences were very proactive, they screamed, shouted, jumped, shaked, danced. It's really fun. The only thing that I wanted to comment is that they didn't have nice outfits, no dancing no special guest star.

I received sms from GH this morning, telling me that she had given birth to her baby girl last evening and both mummy & baby are fine. CONGRATULATIONS! new mummy. Take care and rest well. Laogong complaint to me on Kenneth's lappy:-
Ken's lappy always got a problem - shock circuit. When u put the lappy on your lap and with the adapter on, you can get the electric shock. I experience this myself several times when I use his lappy. As advised by laogong, Ken brought his lappy down Funan, wanted to get this problem solved. He came back home and said that the technician told him there was nothing wrong with the lappy. Feeling so frustrated, laogong immediately drove down the Funan with Ken. There is this so-called "IT Technician" called Sebastian Tan didn't even know how to test the unit. He offered to change a new set but when he took a unit out from his store, laogong asked him again "are you sure this is a new set?" He answered: "Oh no, this is repaired unit." and when he on the repaired unit with Ken's adapter, the problem was still there and then he said "this model is all like that de!" When laogong said something like 会电死人的. The worst part is what he commented "如果电死人，你来找我."

I called up to their office this morning to launch a complain. There are so many cases of IT products exploded when they are in used and supplier can take it so freely. It's better to be safe then sorry. For goodness sake, do you think you can compensate me with a son if anything happens. I'm sure to get into this matter with you. You wait and see.

Had a heart-to heart talk with Serene this afternoon. Didnt know that I have said something unintensionally and hurt her... anyway everything is clear now.

I was given 2 concert tickets by my colleague who bought a new handphone. It is MayDay 《五月天》on this Friday and will be going after work with AP.

* A short update here on Godpa's condition:
Went to CGH last night to meet LiLi (his d-i-l) to make enquiries on
the medical report required by AIA. Went up to his ward to pay
him a visit. He is no longer in drips but still on tubes. He can
talk with "arh arh" sound. If you listen carefully, you can figure
out what he wants to say. This is definitely a good sign. LiLi
kept craking jokes and he smiled & laughed with sound. But he still
cried when he think of something else.

He says he doesn't want any visitors especially his ONG side. So his
sons informed the nurses to restrict the visitors to only 4 persons
- his wife, 2 sons & d-i-l.

This is the 1st arrangement I made in MC Division - shipment to Thailand. With Lynn's guidiance & help, I finally got this machine out from office to warehouse for vacuum pack and it will be loaded to a 20ft container on Monday.

Am very busy with the shipment arrangement etc. Business seems to be picking up. It's a good & bad sign for me.

Good - hopefully Bonus should be back to 3.8

Bad - I got to struggle another 2 months until GH comes back.

Have arranged a direct shipment from Japan to India under LC. Got to start preparing all the documents and present to the bank on Monday... hopefully everything goes smoothly.

No matter how I dont like to be in this division, I'll sure to put in my very best to get things done. I feel fustrated when things doesnt come out the way I arranged, luckily I have AP sitting beside me trying to entertain me with her craps and update me on LMH's news. Cheers! Buddy.

I have a colleague from Bangkok skype me this afternoon, asking how about my durain tree... I was very curious and asked her how she knew about it as I didn't mention this to anybody except in my blog here. Had a family gathering at chalet @ Safra Country Club yesterday. It's fun. Baobei told me that her friends said that I am very cool in their eyes... 'cos I go clubbing. Hahaha, is that so? Even Javier also said that in the tag.

I'm just experiencing what the teenagers do these days. Although I used to go clubbing in my early 20 (when I was doing sales) but that was totally different from those days. The life, the atmophere, the music is totally different. It's alright to go... just take care of yourselves and be smart & alert at all times.

I grow up with my children. I told baobei that I felt very tired the very next day after clubbing, she taught me a way to overcome it and I think it works. My mj friends in their late 40 & early 50 are always complaining about their children and that makes me wanting to understand teenagers more.

To my children, I maybe a bit naggy at times but I think this is the only thing that parents can do. We can't simply ignore, scold or cane them. Laogong always reminds me that they are already grown up and we have to treat them as young adults. We got to let them decide what they want to be and then guide them.

Last Wednesday, I had a date with my colleagues. We left office at 6.15pm and took a bus to VivoCity for dinner. We talked, we joked, we played a fool like teenagers. We reached Dragonfly at 7.30pm and I actually love the music there. It's live band with Chinese & Cantonese songs. But too bad, because Rosnah (a Malay) & Mel (a Filipino) were with us and those songs didnt interest them so we decided to walk to the next door - Power House which only open at 8pm. So we waited outside and got AiPeo to entertain us with her craps. She danced and shake like Wonder Girls with the song 'Nobody'.... Hahaha it's damn funny! She made us laughed until we teared.

I know why teenagers like to go there. It's fun and relaxing with those music. But it gets crowded & nosier later at night. As we went there early, we can get the drinks easily - no need to queue up. We talked and laughed so loudly and nobody disturb or border. And the best of all, it's FOC on Wednesday. It's Ladies' Night. But it gets very tired the next morning. But we are sure that we will go again. See u there.

But to all ladies (baobei & friends), there are a lot of hookers... so take care of yourselves and be more alert.

Had a wonderful lunch last Friday. That was GH's last day of work 'cos she will be away for her 3 months maternity leave. We had pork ribs, roasted chicken etc for lunch. After that Ros 'syco' SHTan to give a treat to TCC and we went next door for deserts....

Had a wonderful dinner with AiPeo & Serene this evening at Al Dente - Colours of the Bay. Both ladies are cute and it's fun going out with them. We have a lot of things in common. We talked, we giggled, we laughed out loudly like nobody business.
I think this is so called FATE that draw us close together. Out of so many applicants who applied for the post and I picked these 2 ladies. AiPeo is with me for almost 3 years and she is the photocopy of me. She and I most of the time think alike. Before I tell her what I need her to do, she already does it nicely or knows what to do. Serene is new but she is trying to adapt to my style of doing things. I'm not afraid that they will outshine me someday 'cos I need to pass on my skills to them so that I can go on to the next level and then to my retirement. Hahaha I'm looking forward to that.

AiPeo wants me to record down this... In Year 2009:-
I have changed my attitude on the Korean drama. I didnt border when Lynn (in Bangkok) introduced me the Korean drama some time ago. For the simple reason, we dont even understand their language. For the 1st time in my life, I become so in love with BBF... up to the extend of learning korean words online. We speak simple korean words everyday when we see each other. We talked about this drama almost everyday in office. We share opinions / thoughts / dreams on LMH together.. Hahaha, it may sound crazy but this is the way we release our stress. We really look forward to travel together.

For the 1st time in my life, I tried Italian food tonight, The food really suits my taste. Thanks to Yang's recommendation and the free drinks etc.

It's very relaxing tonight. I'm getting my mind out of stress & worries.
DONT WORRY, BE HAPPY! will be my motto from now on.
