I'm on UPL today.
I woke up at 8am and started my HK drama show... finished 2 episodes and then off to NYP to meet Kenneth to buy his lappy. Wow... NYP is like shopping mall - my 1st impression when I stepped in. The lappy was out of stock and got to wait till Monday, so we took a bus home and on our way I received a call from Jas at 1.45pm, telling me that m-i-l is lost. I mean she has lost her way back home. Jas brought her to SGH for checkup and on their return, m-i-l told Jas that she knew her way home and Jas let her aligned at Aljunied MRT station. But minutes later, Jas didnt see her on the path that leads to my home. Hence she quickly stepped out of the station and searched but too late, she was nowhere to be found. Jas called to get help.
Kenneth & I quickly aligned the bus and cab-ed to Aljunied MRT to help out. We searched everywhere, every corner, all coffeeshops nearby. I was like almost fainted under the hot sun. I called my mum and asked her if my m-i-l ever go over to her area in the afternoon 'cos she used to do that in the morning. But my mum said no (not in the afternoon). So Kenneth & I (Karen joined in) continued to search while Jas & Francis drove round & round to look out for her. At about 3.10pm, Jas called me and told me that m-i-l is at Toa Payoh Police Station. So Jas & Francis drove to fetch her back. OMG, how did she ended up at TPPS?
While waiting for them to come home, I quickly called my mum to update her.... Oh no, guess what? My dad walked to the nearby market to see if he could find her. Oh no... sorry mum & dad, I shouldn't have called you to make both of you worry... daddy has just recovered and still help out... sooorrryyyy.
Latest update here :-
M-i-l is back home now.She didn't even know why & how she landed up at police station just now. Her sickness is getting from bad to worse... Laogong & I have decided to change her NRIC address to ours since she is staying with us. Everything's back to normal now but she kept asking us why is she at police station and how did she get there and so on...
